Over the past few years I think we've all learned to never count the Cardinals out. From being down 3-2 in the 2011 World Series to the Rangers, and coming back to win it all, to knocking off both the Braves and the Nationals in last years playoffs, the Cardinals have proven year after year that they are extremely to take out, and are always in the hunt for a playoff spot. This year is no different. With key pieces like Carlos Beltran and Matt Holiday returning, to couple with a possible newcomer such as their No.1 prospect Oscar Tevaras to replace Rafael Furcal (had Tommy John surgery), the Cardinals should remain in contention in the NL Central with the Reds.
