I dont know of a team that is more of a rebuilding project than the Marlins. In all honesty the trade they conducted with Toronto last winter made it look like the Marlins were a minor league affiliate of the Blue Jays. The Marlins sent Jose Reyes, Josh Johnson, Mark Buehrle, John Buck and Emilio Bonifacio to the Blue Jays for essentially no one that made a difference for the Blue Jays one season ago. The one person I truly feel sorry for in Giancarlo Stanton. The All-Star OF was left out of the trade, and is now left to suffer the pain of still being in Miami. Stanton's reaction to the trade was well observed on Twitter, on it he said, "Alright, I'm pissed off!!! Plain & Simple", easily showing his frustration with the Marlins. If the Marlins dont figure out how to put an actual MLB team on the field come April 1st, I predict this team will lose more than 100+ games "Plain & Simple."
