For the past two consecutive years the Cincinnati Reds have been the dominant team in the NL: Central. The Reds won the Central last year with a record of 97-65. The Reds have reloaded again for the 2013 season and are looking to claim their third consecutive NL: Central title. The Reds solidified that by picking up some big name players this off season like OF Shin-Soo Choo formally of the Cleveland Indians and Johnathen Broxton formally of Kansas City. The signing of Broxton is an interesting sign and we didn't know how they would use him at first considering they already have a closer in Aroldis Chapman. Then the Reds announce they would try Chapman as a starter. Well halfway through spring l it looks like now that Chapman will remain the Reds closer and Broxton will be a setup man and give Chapman some occasional day off. The Reds also have stolen base phenom Billy Hamilton who should start the season at AAA-Lousivlle. Hamilton had 155 stolen bases in 2012 in only 132 games. Hamilton could get a The Reds will continue their dominance and win the NL: Central and they will make a tough run for the World Series.
