Here are our updated standings
Caleb 15-3
Cory 14-4
Carter 13-5
Here's this weeks picks.
No. 25 Maryland at No. 8 Florida State
The Terps have been impressive in their 1st four games, winning each of them and doing it in dominating fashion. Meanwhile Florida State has some guy named Jameis Winston who just keeps tearing up opponents. A lor of experts think this is a trap game for the Seminoles and I agree. If Florida State doesn't keep a hold of Maryland, they will go down this week.
Caleb's Pick- Florida State 35, Maryland 31
Carter's Pick- Florida State 34, Maryland 10
Cory's Pick- Florida State 38, Maryland 13
No. 6 Georgia at Tennessee
Now some may say this game shouldn't be close, but history is on the Vols side in this one. In 2004 Georgia knocked off reigning national champs LSU, only to fall the very next week to two touchdown underdog Tennessee 19-14. In 2009 Georgia was also favored to beat Tennessee, but got blasted 45-19 in what was a horrid effort by the Bulldogs. This year Tennessee may not have an offense, or a defense, but look for the Vols to come out strong and give Georgia a run for their money, cause for some odd reason the Vols always get up to play Georgia.
Caleb's Pick- Georgia 35, Tennessee 28
Carter's Pick- Georgia 45, Tennessee 24
Cory's Pick- Georgia 45, Tennessee 24
Minnesota at No.19 Michigan
The Gophers aren't exactly the best team in the nation, but with the way Michigan has been playing lately they won't have to be to knock off the Wolverines. Michigan is undefeated, but has struggled in its last two wins against the lowly Akron and UConn. This one should come down to the wire in a low scoring game at the Big House.
Caleb's Pick- Michigan 21, Minnesota 17
Carter's Pick- Michigan 28, Minnesota 17
Cory's Pick- Michigan 35, Minnesota 6
Georgia Tech at No.14 Miami
Enter the most underrated game of the week. The Hurricanes are riding high after their hot start, but QB Stephen Morris is banged up and isn't 100%. The Yellow Jackets lost a heart-breaker at home last week to Virginia Tech, but still have a lot of weapons to contend with. Look for the Yellow Jackets to keep this game interesting, and Miami to overcome some obstacles in what could be a high scoring shootout.
Caleb's Pick- Miami 38, Georgia Tech 28
Carter's Pick- Miami 28, Georgia Tech 24
Cory's Pick- Miami 38, Georgia Tech 17
No. 4 Ohio State at No. 16 Northwestern
The Buckeyes pulled out a win last week vs. Wisconsin and will now have to switch their focus to a very dangerous Northwestern team. The Wildcats have only one win against Ohio State in its last 20 or so meetings, but this year they will probably have their best team they have ever had ready to play the Buckeyes in Evanston. This has trap game written all over it for Ohio State, but look for this to be a tightly contested match-up that will come down to who can make big plays in the 4th quarter.
Caleb's Pick- Northwestern 31, Ohio State 28
Carter's Pick- Ohio State 43, Northwestern 20
Cory's Pick- Ohio State 52, Northwestern 35
No. 15 Washington at No. 5 Stanford
Right now the Stanford Cardinal look like one of the top 5 teams in the nation. They are bruising people with their defense, and putting up great numbers on offense. Washington has an explosive offense, but it remains to be seen how good their defense is. Stanford will be the favorite in this game, but if they come out flat footed look for Washington to take advantage and make this a close one.
Caleb's Pick- Stanford 35, Washington 24
