There is no such thing as staying quiet in the Angels offseason. Within the last three years they have signed Josh Hamilton, Albert Pujols, and C.J Wilson, and it didn't change this offseason when they acquired former World Series MVP David Freese and former pitching prospect Tyler Skaggs. The Angels also made some other moves by trading away Mark Trumbo and Peter Bourjos. The Angels also made Mike Trout a "million dollar man" by signing him to a 1yr - $1million contract. This is only temporary as the Angels are expected to sign him to a multi year deal later on this season or in the offseason. With those acquisitions, and the hope for a healthy Josh Hamilton and Albert Pujols, the Angels are looking to return to the promise land that they should have been in the past two years. Also don't overlook the acquisition of Freese. Freese is a proven winner and leader and should really help the Angels not just on the diamond, but in the dugout as well.
